“Axe Grabbers” Expedition Update - May 16, 2024

On May 7, 2024 we flew Ben Luedtke and Ross Hill expedition name, “Axe Grabbers” to Kahiltna Basecamp with goals to spend 30 days in the Alaska Range attempting climbs on Hunter (Begguya), Foraker (Sultana) and Denali.

May 16:

“We attempted to put a cache on Crosson yesterday, but were again turned around due to unstable snow. Today, we got out and climbed half of Annie’s Ridge next to basecamp, however! And now we are planning to move our basecamp out to Foraker (Sultana) in the next day or so”
